“How’s the book coming?” asks no one, because let's face it, the world's too busy spinning off its axis for this to be anyone’s big concern at the moment. Also, folks may fear the question would be met with gnashing of teeth, rending of garments, and technicolor expletives.
Congrats on nearing the end!! I'm in almost-final edits that I thought were final until I got beta reader feedback and I'm sure you know that story.... Do you have a release date yet??
I haven't gotten to the beta-reader or editor point yet, so I suppose I should be careful in saying "final revisions" and say something like "final revisions that I can do without a second (third, seventh) pair of eyes on it. Hoping to get it into someone else's hands by spring. At that point, there may actually be gnashing of teeth.
At that point, I suppose, I'll need to decide about how I want this to get out into the world. The publishing part of the work is...a lot. And not speedy.
Supposedly late March but I actually might do a low-key release for book 2 and really ramp up for book 3. (It’s a series.) I’m taking a course by David gaughran and can finally understand what’s he’s saying about marketing...
Jackie!!!
Best. Post. Ever.
HUGE. May your commas be cooperative and pie supply be steady... I cannot wait!!! ❤️
Thank you, friend! Here's to wieldy commas.
I cannot wait for it!
Is it weird that I'm super excited to have you read it and also I don't want to disappoint you? Probably. That's ok. I'll eat pie and figure this out.
There is zero chance I will be disappointed. But go for the pie anyway.
Thank you for managing your expectations ;)

When is your next book out?

I'm so impressed with everyone who wears the author hat and the marketing hat. Sometimes both at once! Looking forward to Book 2!
